The Orange Clinic
2026 As the population of people living with HIV continues to age, cognitive impairment and memory difficulties are becoming increasingly important aspects of long-term HIV care. An estimated 14% to 20% of people living with HIV experience cognitive impairment, affecting daily functioning, quality of life and engagement in care.
The Orange Clinic was established within a specialist NHS HIV service in Brighton to provide a dedicated multidisciplinary memory service, improving the assessment, diagnosis and management of cognitive concerns within a familiar HIV care setting.
