Buddy Polska

2026 Poland is one of the few European Union countries where the HIV epidemic continues to grow. In 2025, close to 2,800 new HIV diagnoses were recorded, while incidence has approximately tripled since 2020. Despite this, Poland does not have a formal national linkage-to-care pathway, and an estimated 16% of people diagnosed with HIV never enter care.

Buddy Polska provides nationwide peer support delivered by trained MSM living with HIV, helping newly diagnosed individuals access guidance, emotional support and lived-experience expertise regardless of where they live, both in person and online.
