The Fifty over 50 Project

2025 The Fifty Over 50 project is a qualitative research initiative led and funded by MSD UK with support from M&F Health, involving UK HIV advocacy and professional organisations. It focuses on people living with HIV aged 50 and over, a rapidly growing and diverse demographic. The project addresses key challenges including managing ageing with HIV-related multimorbidity, persistent stigma, mental health, fragmented healthcare, social isolation, and financial insecurity. It highlights the need for tailored, culturally competent services and integrated care.
