ARIE

Promoting fitness as therapy

ARIE is a European project to promote physical exercise among adults living with HIV. Six countries (Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, Lithuania, Romania and Slovenia), seven organisations and over 30 experts are involved in this ambitious project.

It aims to encourage participation in sports and physical activity among people living with and being treated for HIV infection, in line with EU recommendations and guidelines on physical activity. This project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
